Antique Old Paris French Botanical China Set Peach Border Gilt Embellishments Early 19th Century (39 Pieces)

Offered is a 39-piece antique French Old Paris dessert set with a wide peach border trimmed in gilt and a hand-painted botanical center.
The large platter grounds the set and is one of the four serving pieces.

The florals are different for each piece.

The craftsmanship quality and color of the unmarked plates in particular places their date of manufacture early part of the 19th century.

The set overall is classic in styling and fits into the styling used by the prominent manufacturer Julien Fils Aine.
Excellent design and craftsmanship confirms the exceptonal quality of the set.
In addition to the large deep serving platter, there are 25 dessert plates, one lidded tureen, a footed serving dish,and 10 fruit dishes that compliment the set.

Five of the smaller dessert plates hav the botanical name in script and there is a retailer mark on the fruit dishes as shown in the photos.



MEASUREMENTS:
20 plates measure 9 1/8 inches in diameter.
5 plates measure 7 1/2 inches in diameter.
1 matching platter measures 21 inches long and 14 3/4 inches wide
10 fruit dishes measure 5 5/8 inches in diameter
1 matching lidded tureen 14 inches from handle to handle, 8 1/2 inches tall
1 footed serving dish 8 1/2 inches in diameter


CONDITION:
The set is in great condition overall with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
There is only the slightest bit of wear shown in fading of the gilt.
This set is made of pure white heavy porcelain.
Imperfections are to be expected on the porcelain of the period and all may not be noted.
No dishwasher or microwave.
