Offered are 12 antique Royal Worcester dinner plates manufactured by Tiffany & Company in 1915. The pattern name is discontinued Bessbourough.
The plates are decorated with urns of hand-painted pink roses , blue and red scrolls, and a center garland of soft green leaves.
These plates were manufactured in 1915. These plates measure 10 3/8 inches in diameter.

HISTORY:
The standard printed factory mark included the number 51 in the center that refers to the year 1751 when the Worcester Porcelain Company was founded by Dr. John Wall. the mark can appear in any color and on a variety of materials.
The marks almost always included a code to indicate the year of manufacture. From 1891 pieces were coded with a system of dots and/or symbols with the addition of the words "Royal Worcester England".
