French Old Paris dessert set.
Featuring twelve dessert plates, two cake stands, and a rare lidded sauce tureen.
Neoclassically styled with crisp white ground and cobalt blue trim.
Set has a fresh design and is appropriate for today's aesthetic.
Although unmarked, the craftsmanship and color of these plates, in particular, suggest that they were manufactured in the early part of the 19th century.
The antique dealer who sold this set to me said that the set may be 18th century.
MEASUREMENTS:
12 dessert plates measure 8 1/4 inches in diameter
2. Cake stands measure 3 1/2 inches tall and 8 1/8 inches in diameter
1 sauce tureen & lid measures 8 1/2 inches
5 3/4 inches in diameter
CONDITION:
The condition is excellent.
One plate does show a tight hairline, which is barely noticeable.
For best care, please hand wash.
