HISTORY:
Royal Worcester was established in 1751 and is believed to be the oldest or the second-oldest English porcelain brand still in existence today.
(Flight Barr&Barr)
1783 Thomas Flight bought the factory. During this period the quality of the product diminished some so he decided to take on a partner.
1792 Martin Barr became a partner and later groomed his two sons, Martin Jr. and George, to run the company.
The 1807 Chamberlain Period lasted until 1902.
The 18th and 19th centuries were great successes; however, the latter half of the 20th century shows a gradual decline in the earlier quality.
CONDITION:
There are no cracks, chips, repairs, staining, or crazing.
There is some fading of the gilding in some areas.
