It is encircled by the family motto "Munifice de Fortiter" which means bountifully and bravely.
These plates have a timeless quality about them.
There is an impressed mark that is illegible.
I believe it could be early Worcester.

The plates are in great antique condition overall with no chips or cracks or crazing.
There are some minimal gilt fading and scratches from age and use.
