Offered is a 12-piece antique Limoges dessert set manufactured by H and Co., decorated with hand-painted fruit on all pieces.
It is richly gilded on all pieces.
The manufacturer's mark is on the pink and aqua cake plates.
Multi-colored borders and gilded rims surround the charming center design.
The set includes three double-handled cake plates, two small dessert platters, and seven dessert plates.
The two oval serving dishes are from Haviland, France, and date later.
However, they were decorated by Haviland & Co. and blend perfectly as a member of this set.
MEASUREMENTS:
7 dessert plates measure 6 1/2 inches in diameter
3 double-handled serving dishes measure 10 inches in diameter
1 oval serving dish measures 8 inches
1 oval serving dish measures 10 inches in diameter
CONDITION:
The entire set is in excellent antique condition.
The pink double-handled cake plate has a tiny nick under the rim.
Age-related are to be expected of porcelain if this vintage.
This set can be used for special occasions and displayed beautifully.
