HISTORY:
From 1847 to 1970, the company was owned outright by the Copeland family and often showed a variation of Copeland, which was often used in conjunction with the Spode name on the back stamp.
From the late 1800s to 1963, impressed marks were used to date the pieces—a letter to indicate the month and two numbers to reflect the year.
CONDITION:
They are in great condition.
Any pieces during this period may have minor age-related issues that are not mentioned.
