Offered is a stunning pair of French Sevres dessert compotes Old Paris

The pair features a pretty pink border embellished with raised gilt and gilded scalloped rims.

The center well has two different hand-painted portraits of seated ladies in 19th-century dress.

The skill of the design of this dessert set is an outstanding feature.

Both pieces are signed with the blue double L mark.

They have heirloom quality and are ideally passed down through the family.

Lovely for display in a china cabinet.

2 dessert compotes are 9 1/8 inches in diameter.
Stand 2 5/8 inches tall

CONDITION:
Good antique condition. No loss of color.
However, both pieces have hairlines and one has a chip.
No evidence of crazing.
Porcelain manufactured during this time period will have some minor imperfections occurring in production or use over its lifetime of nearly 200 years.
