Offered are 12 turquoise Royal Worcester dessert plates manufactured in 1890.
The pattern number is 2611 and they feature an intricately designed medallion and border on ivory porcelain surrounded by a scalloped edge.
Each plate measures 8 inches in diameter.
HISTORY:
These plates show the mark of C&G Royal China Works a company established by Thomas Grainger in 1801.
George Grainger his son took over after his death in 1839.
The Grainger factory specializes in the production of hand-painted pieces for display,
richly jeweled pieces, and ivory porcelain in a similar style to Royal Worcester.
The company was sold to Royal Worcester in 1890 after George Grainger's death in 1889.
The condition overall is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
