Offered are a rare pair of stunning antique Copeland Spode dinner plates with an apple green striped border.
The plates are enhanced with molded scalloped rims to compliment the striking striped border.
They are finished off with gilt embellishments and center medallion.
The inclusion of no maker's mark and just the pattern number suggests that this set was manufactured during the early period of the 19th century.
The pattern number is 2225.
The quality of the design and craftsmanship supports 19th-century and most likely a prominent manufacturer.
