Offered is a charming china set featuring a pair of antique English dessert cake plates attributed to John Ridgway.
They have the maker's mark on the back of each plate, which features the British Royal Coat of Arms with the initials JR and 9113.
Circa 1835 1840 Regency period.
They have an unusual scalloped shape.
They have a white-footed body with gilt trim and a center medallion.
They are accented with thin gray and red lines.
They also measure 10 1/4 inches by 9 5/8 inches. The pattern number is 9113.
These plates are in good condition with no chips or cracks.
