Offered is a one-of-a-kind exceptional porcelain English pitcher manufactured in 1843 according to the registration mark on the base of the piece.
There is no maker's mark.
It has been skillfully decorated on white ground with hand-painted florals and a boldly-colored butterfly handle.
A butterfly is repeated on the body of the piece also.
The footed pitcher/jug stands 6 inches from the gilded feet to the spout.
The condition is excellent with no marks, nicks, cracks, stains, discoloration, repairs, or crazing.
There is no significant wear. It is a gem!!!
