$395.00
Eight Copeland Spode dinner plates with soft green borders, silver trim, and rims are offered.
These plates' pastel tone and versatility would be elegant on your Easter table.
The quality of these plates is also a definite feature that makes them a candidate for pairing them with compatible styles from the 19th century.
They were manufactured according to the back impressed mark in 1928.
Tatman's of Chicago was the retailer, and the plates show minor use.
Great as a wedding gift.
MEASUREMENTS:
The plates are significant at 10 5/8 inches in diameter.
HISTORY:
From 1847 to 1970, the company was owned by the Copeland family and showed a variation of Copeland often used in conjunction with the Spode name on the back stamp many times.
From the late 1800s to 1963, impressed marks were used to date the pieces—a letter indicated the month, and two numbers reflected the year.
CONDITION:
The plates are in excellent antique condition.
There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.
These plates are perfect for Spring entertaining.
