Offered is a stunning 16-piece aqua Old Paris botanical dessert set with hand-painted florals in the center well.
The design is complimented with gilded scalloped rims.
The complete set features 14 dessert plates and a pair of matching cake stands.
The cake stands are marked with the manufacturer's stamp, F. Dommmartin.
DIMENSIONS:
Fourteen Plates are 8 3/8 inches in diameter.
Two cake stands are 1 1/2 inches tall, and the plateau is 8 3/4 inches in diameter.
CONDITION:
This set is in excellent antique condition.
Porcelain manufactured between 1850 and 1899 will acquire some minor imperfections.
While this set was manufactured during the last half of the 19th century, the color is vivid.
No chips, cracks, or crazing.
Hand washes for the best care. No microwave, please.
This set is best used in elegant settings.
It has heirloom quality and is ideally passed down through the family.
It would also be lovely to display it in a china cabinet.
