This is a stunning, rare 14-piece Old Paris dessert set, which includes 12 dessert plates and a pair of unusual triangular serving dishes.

A sophisticated design featured lavender rectangular cartouches, vine work along the border, and floral sprigs in the well, all done by hand in polychrome and gold gilt.

This is the shop's first offering of a set with this quality of exemplary French craftsmanship.

The porcelain is heavy!


DIMENSIONS:
Twelve plates are 9 inches in diameter.
Two triangular serving dishes 8 1/4 X 9 1/4 inches


CONDITION:
This set is in good antique condition overall.
Porcelain manufactured between 1850 and 1899 will acquire some minor imperfections.
While this set was manufactured during the last half of the 19th century, the color is still vivid.
There is some notable fading on a few plates, as shown in the photos.
One plate has a rim chip, and one serving dish has a significant break repair. See photos.
These issues do not substantially take away the stability of a set of this caliber.
Hand washes for the best care. No microwave, please.

This set is best used in formal or elegant settings.
It has heirloom quality and is ideally passed down through the family.
