HISTORY:

The standard printed factory mark included 51 in the center, which refers to 1751 when Dr. John Wall founded the Worcester Porcelain Company. The mark can appear in any color and a variety of materials.

The marks almost always included a code to indicate the year of manufacture. From 1891, pieces were coded with a system of dots and symbols with the addition of the words "Royal Worcester England."


The mark on this set indicates that they were manufactured in 1951.
