A stunning 30-piece Swiss dinnerware set manufactured by Langenthal sometime after the Second World War.
The set features hand-painted blue cornflowers scattered over the border of eleven dinner plates, covering the entire surface of eleven dessert plates and four teacups.
CONDITION:
The set has had little to no use and is in excellent condition.
There are no chips, cracks, or crazing.
Hand washing is the best way to keep the colors vibrant.
HISTORY:
The Langenthal porcelain factory was founded in 1906. The First World War curbed the momentum of the initial progress.
It was after the Second World War that the factory enjoyed its heyday.
Its remarkable porcelain quality enabled the factory to fight off its competitors.
DIMENSIONS:
Eleven dessert plates measure eight 1/2 inches in diameter.
