7Pc Antique Blue Royal Worcester Dessert Plates and Serving Dish, Green Jeweling, Scalloped Rims, Gift for Her, Pastry Chef, Circa 1926

This is a fancy seven-piece Royal Worcester set featuring six blue dessert plates and a matching serving platter, luxuriously decorated.

The set also features hand-painted green jeweling, extensive gilding, and scalloped rims.

The pattern number is C1103, a rare pattern.


MEASUREMENTS:
The dessert plates measure 6 inches in diameter.
The serving platter is 8 X 9 1/2 inches in diameter.


HISTORY:
The standard printed factory mark included the number 51 in the center, which refers to the year the Worcester Porcelain Company was founded by Dr. John Wall.
The mark can appear in any color and on a variety of materials.

The marks almost always included a code to indicate the year of manufacture.
From 1891, pieces were coded with a system of dots and/or symbols with the addition of the words "Royal Worcester England."


CONDITION:
It is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
No dishwasher or microwave.
