Offered is an antique French china set. There are 8 neoclassically styled dessert plates assembled together. Six dessert plates have scalloped edges with

double blue scalloped lines and gold trim and monogram. Two larger dessert plates have a soft grey border, a thin blue line, and gold Greek Key trim.

The assembled set though unmarked complements each other.

They express the classic French style very well with their simplicity and sophistication.

Both plates suggest the Old Paris style with gilt monogram and trim of the smaller plates and the French Empire style of the larger plates.

The craftsmanship quality and color of the larger plates, in particular, place their date of manufacture around 1830.

The six smaller plates were manufactured a little later. The set overall is classic in styling that endures.

Great as a wedding gift or can be used for a wedding. During the holidays the set is perfectly used for dessert.

Excellent design and craftsmanship suggest that these plates are of great quality and they are in wonderful condition.
