1820 English Blue Dessert Set: w Unique Plaid Border

Charming china set featuring a pair of H. R. Daniel botanical dessert cake plates, a teacup and saucer, five dessert plates, and a matching serving dish.
The pair of cake plates is circa 1820, Regency period.
Their pattern number is 2989.
The cake plates have an unusual asymmetrical shape and a scalloped rims.
The decoration consists of a blue grid filled with gold feathers for a plaid effect.
They are finished off with a beautiful hand-painted floral center and eyelet accents.
The set is ready for display or light use for a simple and elegant dessert.

The teacup and saucer have the same blue grid plaid effect.
Included is also a six-piece set in a similar pattern as the teacup and saucer.
It features a two-handle serving dish and fine dessert plates manufactured by Copeland Spode
in 1906.


CONDITION:
The dessert plates are in excellent antique condition.
The cake plates are in excellent antique condition, with one showing a tiny chip under the edge.
They show no cracks.
The saucer shows some crazing.
The serving dish is in fair condition with a few hairlines shown only from the bottom. They do not go all the way through to the top.
Use discretion when using it to serve dry food only.
Overall, the set is in good antique condition.
Any set this old will have acquired some minor imperfections over 100 years that may not be noted.
