Offered are 6 batwing-designed Copeland Spode dessert plates with a spring green border accented with hand-painted floral panels.
The border is completed with scalloped embossed gilt design rims.
The quality of these plates is a definite feature.

MEASUREMENTS:
Four plates are 9 1/2 inches in diameter.
CONDITION:
The plates are in excellent condition.
No chips, cracks, or crazing.
HISTORY:
From 1847 to 1970, the company was owned by the Copeland family and often showed a variation of Copeland, frequently used in conjunction with the Spode name on the back stamp.
From the late 1800s to 1963, impressed marks were used to date the pieces. A letter indicated the month, and two numbers reflected the year.
