The antique dealer who sold these plates contacted the Wedgwood Archive at the Victoria and Albert Museum for the plates' historical background.

The pattern number is W 1981.
The Wedgwood mark is dated to c 1900 1902.
The words "Bone China" were used between WEDGWOOD and MADE IN ENGLAND in 1902.
"Lincoln Trophy border printed in meadow green.
Chinese center printed in gold along with the gold rims all burnished.


CONDITION:
Shows no chips, crazing, or cracks.
A few utensil marks that do not significantly detract from their beauty.
High quality.
No dishwasher or microwave.
