It is half of a damaged original that has been professionally transformed into a stunning new life as a wall display piece.
The porcelain body features hand-painted florals reflecting a characteristic pattern of blush ivory.
A scalloped rim and embossed elements are also fine features.
It retains its functionality and is still very beautiful.
Skillful hands created a matching metal back support and intricate trim around the raw edges of the original perfectly.
Jardiniere is a French word from the feminine form of "gardener".
The French will primarily refer to tabletop "planter versions of such planters as cachepots.
