Offered is a rare neoclassical 1910 Minton dinner plate featuring embossed bellflowers and a gold garland with ribbons. This plate has been paired with a second plate with similar styling but produced much later in Italy for Bonwit Teller.
The Minton plate's striking feature focuses on an unusual linear design that reads more contemporary than antique. It was manufactured in 1910.
What sets it apart from the second plate is the embossed feature, which is typically found in antique china.
This design lends the Minton plate a modern, contemporary vibe and a timeless quality, as it blends nicely with other contemporary plates.
They could work beautifully in a masculine setting.
They would be an excellent gift for an engineer or an architect!
