Offered are thirteen rare antique Worcester dinner plates made for Phillips of London in the 19th century.
A cream and gold rope twist rim surround the wide turquoise border.
There is an impressed maker's mark on the back of each plate for Phillips of London. It lists Oxford and Bond Street addresses.
Philips was an English purveyor of fine Worcester and Minton china of the time.
The family crest in the center of the 10 dessert plates is a motto that reads " Where there is love, there is faith".
The set has an aristocratic vibe, suggesting formal and special occasions.
