HISTORY:
Crown Staffordshire China was a Staffordshire, England-based pottery manufacturer that began as the Green family's business in 1833 and formally started as Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co. in 1889.
Known for its fine bone china tableware, floral china, and decorative items like miniature baskets and figures, the company gained fame for pioneering floral ornaments and costume jewelry in the late 1920s.
After a period of significant international growth and export, Crown Staffordshire eventually became part of the Wedgwood Group in 1973, with the brand name remaining until the mid-1980s, when Coalport took over.
MEASUREMENTS:
The plates measure 10 3/8 inches.
CONDITION:
The plates are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
Hand washing is the best care.
