A 19-piece French Old Paris dinner set with beautifully hand-painted pink roses is rendered in different arrangements throughout the set.
Joseph Klotz sold these pieces during the second half of the 19th century.
He had a famous boutique in Paris specializing in fine tableware. The porcelain pieces have been skillfully decorated with soft pink roses and an ornate monogram, characteristic of 19th-century taste for naturalism and botany.
The skill in the design of this dinner set is evident.
The feeling of Spring is expressed vividly.
Use on your Easter table, and afterwards, the set can be lovely on display in a china cabinet.

DIMENSIONS:
Eight dinner plates measure 9 1/2 inches in diameter
Five soup plates measuring 9 1/4 inches in diameter.
Five dessert/salad plates measure 8 1/4 inches in diameter
One charger plate measures 11 inches in diameter.
CONDITION:
Excellent antique condition.
No chips, cracks, or crazing.
There is a tiny chip on the charger plate.
Some fading is shown on a few rims.
Porcelain manufactured during this period will have minor imperfections arising from production or use over its 170-year lifetime.
Hand washing is the best care. No microwave, please.
