A rare antique English Samuel Alcock hand-painted botanical china set.
Includes 12 dessert plates featuring a pale blue and an embossed gilded border.
Each plate features different enameled florals, as was the custom of that period.
The set also has lovely gold trim on all pieces.
This set has the quality and craftsmanship of the period's major manufacturers.
The fractional pattern number on the back of the plates is used in Samuel Alcock China.
Circa 1850.
Family heirloom.

Set in excellent antique condition overall with no chips, cracks, or crazing.
Any set this old will have acquired some minor imperfections over 100 years that may not be noted.
