Coalport during the Regency period sometime between 1815 and 1825.
These plates are rare and usually seen in the luncheon or salad plate size.
A set of 12 dinner plates is extraordinary.
The large size makes them appropriate for the buyer who entertains lavishly.
They are of heirloom quality.
The body of the plates are uniquely crosshatched textured with blue enameled jewels throughout.
Complimented with hand-painted floral medallions around the border and one large one in the center.
The elaborate skill in the design and decoration makes these plates great candidates for
cabinet plates.
They are exquisite, timeless, and meant to be passed down.
MEASUREMENTS:
The plates measure 10 1/4 inches in diameter.
CONDITION:
Their age does show some light crazing, fading, and staining on a few plates.
